Ray Dorsey This album is fantastic! Totally different from everything that’s going on now and right in my wheelhouse. Quirky and unusual, with a firm foot in both 80’s obscure metal and 70’s prog. I hear everything from MANILLA ROAD to YES to HÄLLAS to SACRED BLADE. I love it.

DwayneEldredge I love how this band sounds, I enjoy that 70's BOC throwback. They keep it interesting all throughout the album. Favorite track: Not Built by Human Hands.

We're forced to leave our home, there's nothing for us left The orb we once called home is nothing but a barren waste Once a vital life force, this precious gift lies raped We’ve drained her of all nurture, our stewardship has failed For all those left behind, a certain doom draws near The ark could but contain a sample, us chosen few Coordinates set to start anew Into the starscape we gaze Beheld by eyes that shine deep in the dark We are pilgrims of the stars Now the future is in our hands, we are the last hope for our kin The cargo that we hold is the fate of all mankind Our pilgrims’ way is set and there’s no way going back Each of us though wonder: Is it an honor or a curse? We proudly march aboard the ark Into the night we set forth Beheld by eyes that shine deep in the dark We are pilgrims of the stars Coordinates set to start anew Into the starscape we gaze Beheld by eyes that shine deep in the dark We are pilgrims of the stars We proudly march aboard the ark Into the night we set forth Beheld by eyes that shine deep in the dark We are pilgrims of the stars

Interstellar 05:24
Cast loose our vessel This is farewell Set sail for unknown realms A final look and with tearful sight the pale blue dot is gone Is it foolishness to pray to earthbound gods to save celestial souls? Now set in motion We’re laid to rest Sarcophagus of steel Preserved through ages in cryonic state Enter the dreamless sleep The dark engulfs the ark We sail the black vast seas of interstellar space Is it foolishness to pray to earthbound gods to save celestial souls? Hurling through darkness Stars passing by Yet soon the goal is reached Across the ocean Land is in sight At last the slumber stops

A New World 05:25
At last bestowed a refuge, the final remnants of man are now able to savor their sought-after peace The pilgrims’ excited eyes now meet the first rays of light At the coming of daybreak, the misty dawn subsides On desolate plains and through barren vast fields The pilgrims now march forth to chart the surroundings Behind the veil of fog lie scenes of undisturbed soil A new world untouched and betrodden by none Amazing sights appear as explorations proceed The pilgrims gaze in awe as the wonders unfold Pilgrims tread where no man’s set foot A new world to harbor mankind Strange are the sights that the settlers now face A new world yet touched by no hand Streams of silver water are rushing forth through the hills into lakes of unthinkable dark depths below High above the valley reaches the hills made of ash, casting their shadows on the colony below Further afield, striding untrodden trails, enraptured, the pilgrims delve into the dark of night Pilgrims tread where no man’s set foot A new world to harbor mankind Strange are the sights that the settlers now face A new world yet touched by no hand Neath a new moon explorers now rest but the peace might not last very long
5.
The pilgrims reap the fruits that their new home yields but the treasures that they found would blind them An insatiate lust firmly grips all the settlers It will cease their souls, leading them into darkness Indulging the goods yet still tempted by more their ravenous hunger lures them away The pilgrims are blinded, they can’t be appeased, voraciously venturing further from safety None of them foresaw the dread that lay before them Structures of repulsion, they’re not built by human hands Beyond the hills of ash we found them standing tall The artifacts of alien making Cryptic symbols and distorted structures This abomination cannot be man’s creation Flee now fast in terror, from nameless foes of horror Structures of repulsion - they’re not built by human hands None of them foresaw the dread that lay before them Structures of repulsion, they’re not built by human hands

A darkness is upon us, it’s infecting the colony The horror spreading fast, we do not stand a chance Now panic-stricken pilgrims prepare to leave their home once more The settlement is in ruins and the colony has fallen Crestfallen pilgrims board the ark in haste A last look at what we thought was our home There’s no time to waste, we cannot wait for all Pray for the souls of those we’ve left behind Returning to darkness without a destination With dread in our souls, descend to sleep once again What once was salvation, is now our certain doom Towards the unknown we now must go Set sail for darkened void, no light will shine where we are headed With no set goal, we cast loose once again No man can tell what fate is awaiting those we’ve left behind It’s unclear who drew the shortest straw - was it us or them? Enter the tombs, cryogenically prepared Jaded as we are, we lay down to rest We’re closing our eyes and submitting to sleep Not knowing if we will wake up again Crestfallen pilgrims board the ark in haste A last look at what we thought was our home There’s no time to waste, we cannot wait for all Pray for the souls of those we’ve left behind Returning to darkness without a destination With dread in our souls, descend to sleep once again What once was salvation, is now our certain doom Towards the unknown we now must go Into perfect darkness, the pilgrims dive head first with eyes that watch them shining deep in the dark Where this aimless voyage will take the pilgrims next is a tale to be told another time
